About the Role: We are seeking a dynamic and organized Events Assistant to join our team in Dublin. As an Events Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the planning and execution of various events, from corporate functions to social gatherings. Your responsibilities will include coordinating logistics, assisting with event setup, and ensuring a smooth and successful event experience.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field.
- Previous experience in event planning or coordination is desirable but not required.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and handle unexpected issues.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with event management software is a plus.
- Creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to assist colleagues.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays as required.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and coordination of events, including logistics, scheduling, and venue arrangements.
- Support event setup and teardown, ensuring all elements are in place and functioning properly.
- Communicate with vendors, suppliers, and clients to ensure all event requirements are met.
- Manage event registrations, RSVPs, and guest lists.
- Provide on-site support during events, addressing any issues or needs that arise.
- Assist with the creation and distribution of event materials, such as invitations, programs, and signage.
- Monitor event budgets and assist with financial tracking and reporting.
- Collect feedback from attendees and evaluate the success of events to suggest improvements.
- Perform administrative tasks related to event planning, including filing, data entry, and correspondence.
