Job Description
Portico are currently recruiting for an Events & Conference Services Assistant Manager for our team based at an American multinational investment bank and financial services company based in the City.
The investment bank and financial services company are a true flagship location for Portico! The team take pride in being the service partner chosen to deliver an intuitive service, with careful planning and faultless standards. They have a special can-do, flexible approach and relish the opportunity to keep raising the bar, exceeding expectations at every opportunity.
Working alongside the Events & Conference Services Manager, the successful candidate will help to oversee all aspects of the Events & Conference Services Operation. They will facilitate the day-to-day supervision of our highly engaged team, ensuring that we continue to improve what are already world class standards, whilst instilling positive ethics to motivate the team members and to aid the growth of their skillset.
The successful candidate will also need to maintain an excellent client relationship. Growing the relationship with the client and the banks staff to ensure that we consistently exceed expectations.
Shift pattern: 40 hours per week, from Mon-Fri
Salary: £45,000
Qualifications
The successful candidate must have proven experience of overseeing a successful events and conference service operation and managing a team within a high end corporate or hotel environment.
They must be open minded, adaptable and flexible, with the ability to deliver consistently whilst under pressure in an ever changing and evolving business.
They will have high attention to detail and knowledge of service excellence, demonstrating how they take great pride in delivering an exceptional service.
Excellent administration skills are needed for the successful candidate to be able to collate and report statistics, and experience with audio visual equipment and hospitality services is desirable.
