Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organised Events Executive to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of a variety of events. This role combines administrative tasks while ensuring seamless delivery of exceptional experiences for our clients and will include weekend work from time to time.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in a similar role
  • Excellent selling skills and understanding of sales processes
  • Knowledge of menu planning, food presentation, and banquet and event service operations
  • A great communicator with strong telephone etiquette skills
  • Strong customer development and relationship management skills

Responsibilities:

  • Support the planning and execution of various events, including corporate conferences, team-building activities, social events, and K Club Live events.
  • Assist in the creation of event proposals, timelines, and budgets.
  • Ensuring all deposits requests are chased in a timely manner.
  • Act as the point of contact for clients, participants, and vendors during planning stage of events.
  • Resolve any on-the-day issues that may arise, ensuring a high-quality experience for attendees.
  • To conduct Resort Site inspections
  • To ensure all the menus and all event information are entered into the system a minimum of 14 days prior to an event
  • To develop and maintain relationships with new & existing clients
  • To ensure weekly banquet event orders & forecasting reports are issued to the resort every Wednesday afternoon
  • To liaise with Executive Chef regarding seasonal menu requirements, formatting and saving.
  • To in-put menus into Opera
  • To liaise with Sommeliers re updates on the wine list & updating Opera
  • To compile a Catering Calendar of Events
  • To ensure effective transfer of potential sales leads to relevant Salesperson
