Description:
EVENTS LEAD
We have a super exciting opportunity for a talented Events Lead with a genuine interest in organising events and creating a high level of customer satisfaction to join a small team. Situated in a beautiful estate which boasts a rich history dating back almost a thousand years the estate is now home to a leading Vineyard producing the most stunning English Wines. As the Events Lead you will find yourself working with a dedicated team who manage the Vineyard. The key purpose of the role will be to manage and host a range of events, tours and tastings throughout the year. Note this is a 4 day a week role which will involve working some Friday evenings and up to 20 weekends a year.
Salary £35-45K depending on experience
Key responsibilities for the Events Lead will include,
- Organising a range of events, tastings and tours
- Interacting with a range of customers in a professional, friendly manner
- Provide marketing support such as updating the website and merchandise sourcing
- Assist with the fulfilment of stock including stock management, packaging and dispatch
- Assist with general operations and facilities
- Have input into the development and growth of the business
The ideal Events Lead will need the following,
- Proven experience of organising a range of events from community events to high profile events
- Be a highly organised, unflappable and adaptable person with a proactive and positive nature
- Confident administrative skills essential, experience with Shopify, Canva or similar advantageous
- Be comfortable being part of a small supportive team where everyone is willing to roll their sleeves up and muck in
- A genuine interest in events, wine and food along with the willingness to learn would be a huge advantage
- Full UK driving licence and own vehicle essential
