Description:

OBJECTIVE OF POSITION

We are seeking a creative, highly organized Corporate Events Lead to help us manage & execute events that generate brand awareness, build business relationships, and boost employee morale. You will be responsible for end-to-end event management, including conceptualizing ideas for the events, creating, and enforcing budgets, negotiating with suppliers, coordinating, communicating with clients, and ultimately ensuring that each event is flawlessly executed.

EDUCATION / CERTIFICATION

· Degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications, Communications Design, or Business.
· Event planning accreditation is an asset.

EXPERIENCE / CAPABILITIES

· A minimum of 4 years experience in an event-focused role.
· Good computer skills with programs such as MS PowerPoint, Excel, and MailChimp.
· Willingness to be flexible with work schedules.
· Travel is required for some events.

  • Internal Events: Heart Month, Staff BBQ, Service Awards, Christmas, 35thAnniversary Events, Halloween
  • External Events: golf tournaments, galas, association events
  • Be an influencer for any additional events and manage all sponsorships and donations.
  • Company award submissions
  • Assist Marketing Manager with tradeshows.
  • Progression for this role includes ownership of tradeshows and buying group events.
