Louis Vuitton Canada is seeking an Events Specialist to plan and deliver our events calendar and in-store activations for our 10 retail stores across Canada, as well as country-wide initiatives. The Event Specialist will play a key role in supporting our overall Client Relations strategy by creating and executing client-centric local experiences, and managing special projects, in-store client hosting and client gifting programs.
Missions
Main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Plan and execute client-focused regional events aligned with the brand’s standards and supports its business objectives
- Oversee and manage in-store client hosting program
- Manage administrative duties such as purchase order creation, invoicing, budget tracking, inventory management of event supplies
- Liaise with the Louis Vuitton Americas head office on event approvals, weekly event updates and recaps
- Research and engage vendors and operate as their main point of contact, while maintaining consistent knowledge of new vendors and experiences in all major markets
- Work cross-functionally with corporate partners including Visual Merchandising, Operations and Asset Protection as well as retail teams to ensure flawless organization of all events
- Produce monthly competitive trends and event report
Profil
We are eager to speak to individuals that hold 3+ years of full cycle event experience in a client-centered business field. The ideal candidate will have outstanding organizational skills, attention to detail as well as the ability to work in a culturally diverse and multi-site environment, strong interpersonal skills and vendor relationship management. Strong computer skills with the ability to use Microsoft Office and comfort with using systems such as SAP are a plus.
This role reports to the Client Relations Director.
The position requires 4 days per week on site in the Louis Vuitton Corporate Office located in Toronto, ON.
