Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE:
With the company showing continued growth, we are seeking a Building Supervisor to join our Events team to work on our various projects, and in particular the Vailo 500 Pit Building Construction works.
Reporting directly to the Site Senior Project Manager and Operations Manager, your primary responsibility will be to assist in coordinating project activities and liaising with subcontractors, suppliers, and customers to ensure various tasks are carried out in line with work specifications and in compliance with all relevant legislation.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervise site work, personnel and subcontractors to ensure the management of project timelines
- Develop and review JSA’s and Risk Assessments
- Train and mentor staff on project sites
- Support toolbox meetings and other communications relevant to the project
- Implement project-specific health, safety and environmental plans
- Check and prepare reports, designs and drawings
- Capture all project works into a detailed diary and communicate to the project team
- Notify Project Manager of variations and EOTs / delays
- Support negotiating contracts and securing permits and licenses
- Ensure Subcontractor compliance e.g., having appropriate licenses, insurances etc. prior to starting works

- Time Management: Efficiently manage time to ensure all aspects of event setup, execution, and teardown are completed within scheduled timelines.
- Flexibility and Adaptability: Willingness to adapt to changing circumstances and handle unexpected challenges with a positive attitude including flexibility to travel interstate.
- Team Player: Work collaboratively with other departments and team members to ensure seamless event execution.
- Dependability: Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic and commitment to completing tasks efficiently.
- Tickets & Licences: Construction White Card and Current driver’s license essential. Working at heights, Fork lift, Scissor and Boom lift desired.
- Personal: Ability to pass a Drug and Alcohol and Fit for work assessmen
