Exam Invigilator
Contract Hours: Casual (Variable by negotiation during exam seasons)
Hourly Rate: (£12.26 per hour plus accrued holiday pay)
Start Date: April 2025
Main duties:
- To conduct examinations in accordance with the Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ), awarding body and Thomas Gainsborough School instructions.
- To play a key role in upholding the integrity of the examination/assessment process.
- Reporting to the Exams Officer, you would be required to assist in the administration of exams, including candidate invigilation, management of exam rooms, facilities and equipment.
- Previous experience would be an advantage but full training will be given. You must have an eye for accuracy, good attention to detail and be able to stay calm under pressure.
