Description:

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL BE AN ORGANIZED SELF-STARTER WHO DEMONSTRATE:

  • Ability to create, format, and edit a variety of visually pleasing, clear and presentable documents such as tables, forms, graphs, spreadsheets, presentations, brochures, reports, manuals, and minutes using various software applications within required time frames.
  • Provide clear, concise, and accurate information and/or explanations, verbally and in writing, to clients, staff and the public in response to questions, concerns, and complaints.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Post-secondary certificate or diploma in business and/or office education.
  • 1-3 years of progressive senior administrative experience.
  • Experience working with spreadsheets, word processing, SharePoint, and presentation software.
  • Familiarity with the public sector structures will be considered a definite asset.

Responsibilities:

In this position, you would support the Chief Technology Officer and the Chief Architect, by providing high quality and timely administrative support. This role will serve as a trusted partner as you will be involved in note taking for confidential meetings, creating meeting agendas, routing approvals, supporting recruitment functions, following up with stakeholder groups, and supporting the team as they prepare their departments strategic plans. The work you will do will vary on a day-to-day basis as demands are always changing. The position requires a person with well-developed organizational, communication, and people skills. Since the work involves sensitive and confidential matters, an understanding of discretion is also essential.
