EDUCATION:

Post-secondary diploma in a relevant field.

EXPERIENCE:

Two (2) years of related experience providing executive support. Knowledge of general office procedures and practices.

SKILLS:

Effective oral and written communication skills and an ability to produce clear and concise documentation and reports.
Good planning and organizational skills with ability to prioritize workload and meet timelines.
Good problem identification and conflict resolution skills.
Ability to provide excellent service to the community and deal courteously and effectively with people at all levels.
Demonstrated tact and diplomacy in responding to emotional or demanding individuals.
Skilled in proofreading, editing, and maintaining attention to detail.
Proficient in MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.

Responsibilities:

The Executive Administrative Assistant will work closely with both the Dean and Executive Officer to provide efficient, professional and confidential executive support to the Office of the Dean and Office of the Executive Officer at Schulich School of Business. The Executive Administrative Assistant provides executive-level administrative support to the Dean and EO and acts as the primary contact and liaison for communications between the Dean and internal and external stakeholders. In addition, the Executive Administrative Assistant supports designated projects, as assigned.
