Responsibilities:
ROLE OVERVIEW
As an Executive and Investment Assistant you will play a crucial role for CATS Global Schools, focusing on assisting superiors in strategic planning and investment, including industry analysis, travel arrangements and diary management.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to Chief Executive Officer you will be working on all aspects of investment transaction execution and strategy development alongside offering executive assistance to the CEO. These aren’t exhaustive and may vary where necessary to suit the skill set of the post holder and the needs of the group.
Research and Market Monitoring: Stay updated on macroeconomic factors, industry trends, and regulatory changes that may impact investment decisions, and provide
insights to the strategic investment team.
Investment Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of potential investment opportunities, including industry analysis, financial modelling, valuation analysis,
and risk assessment; prepare investment memos for senior team discussions.
Due Diligence: Assist in conducting comprehensive due diligence on target companies, including analysing financial statements, market research, and industry
trends.
Collaboration and coordination: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as finance, legal, and operations, to ensure smooth execution of investment strategies
and capital market initiatives in alignment with the company’s overall strategy.
Calendar Management: Efficiently manage the CFO’s calendar, including scheduling and prioritizing appointments, meetings, conferences, and events. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal use of the CFO’s time.
Meeting Coordination: Coordinate and schedule internal and external meetings, including agenda preparation, room booking, logistics, and necessary documentation. Prepare and distribute meeting materials in advance, take meeting minutes, and follow up on action items.
Travel Arrangements: Coordinate all travel arrangements for the CFO, including flight bookings, hotel accommodations, ground transportation, and visa processing when required. Ensure travel itineraries are well-organized and provide necessary documentation and support.
Financial Administration: Support financial administration tasks, such as processing expense reports, tracking budgets, and coordinating with the finance department for financial reporting and analysis.
Information Management: Maintain an organized filing system, both physical and electronic, to ensure quick and easy retrieval of information. Monitor and update relevant databases, records, and documents, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Assist the CEO in special projects, research, and analysis, as assigned. Provide support in preparing presentations, financial reports, and other deliverables, exercising attention to detail and accuracy.
Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including senior executives, board members, clients, and investors. Serve as a point of contact and represent the CEO’s office professionally and diplomatically.
