QUALIFICATIONS
This position requires a High School Diploma and a minimum of four years related experience; or equivalent as described below.
Equivalency: Directly related education or experience considered on the basis of:
- one year of education for one year of experience; or
- one year of experience for one year of education.
The following are the specific requirements and must be indicated on your resume:
- Experience managing the day-to-day administrative operations of a senior executive’s office.
- Experience with overall coordination of calendars and scheduling of senior executives.
- Experience creating administrative and business processes.
- General knowledge of procurement policies and practices.
- Practical experience working with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.).
The following are assets:
- Experience working with the Action Request Tracking System (ARTS)
- Experience with event coordination and planning.
- General knowledge and experience working with 1GX.
- General knowledge of FOIP and records management policies and practices.

If so, Transportation and Economic Corridors is looking for a passionate and experienced Executive Support professional to join the team.
This competition will be used to fill an Executive Support vacancy in an Assistant Deputy Minister Office (ADMO) reporting to the Issues Manager and directly supporting the Assistant Deputy Minister (ADM), Construction and Maintenance.
This position provides coordination for the day-to-day operations of the ADM’s Office, including scheduling and coordinating meetings and general office logistics. As the first point of contact to the ADM’s office, the EA represents the office when communicating with staff from other executive offices (i.e., the Deputy Minister’s Office or other ADM Offices), as well as internal and external stakeholders. This role also facilitates the flow of information to and from the ADM office and takes a proactive role in supporting the executive team including essential functions related to the coordination of Action Requests (ARs) for the division through ARTS.
