    The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (Cth) (CDPP) is seeking an energetic, highly organised, yet flexible candidate who is more than capable of working in a high-pressure environment with competing demands and often handling sensitive information.

Responsibilities:

The Executive Assistant (EA) to the Director plays a critical role in assisting the Director and the Office run smoothly and efficiently. The EA supports the Director’s requirements to meet significant obligations and commitments, both internally and externally.
The EA provides high level administrative and personal support, works closely with the Director’s Associate and regularly liaises with the ELG and other colleagues. The EA facilitates external liaison with a range of stakeholders, in particular the Attorney General’s Department, Heads of Agencies, Judicial staff and State DPPs. Duties are carried out are under broad direction and include analysing and prioritising requests.
This role requires a high degree of professionalism, judgement and discretion. Strong relationship skills are needed to influence and support collaboration. The EA must use initiative daily and maintain currency in relevant subject matter areas through ongoing professional development.
