The role
Fugro is now seeking an Executive Assistant to support the newly appointed Country Director. The ideal candidate must be prepared to work in a fast-paced environment and possess the ability to be flexible. You will be expected to undertake the seamless management of the Country Director’s schedule, arranging travel, minute taking, preparing corporate documents and organising and maintaining office systems. You will be working directly with high-level employees, maintaining strict confidentiality whilst sustaining the highest level of professionalism at all times. The successful candidate will need to possess excellent business acumen, as you will be asked to undertake data analysis, collecting and analysing information that you will then use to prepare corporate presentations. Please note this role is office based in Wallingford, five days a week.

Who we’re looking for:

  • Minimum of GCSE or equivalent education, with grade C or above in English and Maths.
  • Advanced in MS Word, Excel (must be at V Lookup level), Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent English language communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Efficient and able to work to tight deadlines.
  • Ability to negotiate positive outcomes.
  • Good influencing skills.
  • Ability to anticipate problems and ensure early intervention.
  • Numerical skills.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is essential or role requiring high level administrative support.
