Description:

Blue Cross of Idaho is looking for an experienced Executive Assistant to provide administrative support to the Vice President, Government and Commercial Business and six Directors in the department as well as business support to a team of 26+ employees.

  • This will be an on-site position in the Meridian, Idaho location.

To be considered this position, you have the following:
Experience: Three (3) years of administrative support for executive level positions.
Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience (Two years’ work experience is equivalent to one year of college)

In this role, you will:

  • Perform advanced secretarial, clerical, and administrative duties.
  • Assignments generally involve work of a confidential nature and require knowledge of the practices and procedures of the function, company products, policies, and programs.
  • Assemble and analyze information, prepares reports, manuals, agendas, correspondence, and memorandums.
  • Answer mail and inquiries on your own initiative, follow-up with other departments to ensure that requests are carried out.
  • Administration of budget.
  • Coordinate activities across departments.
  • Arrange and make notifications of appointments and travel reservations/arrangements.
  • Answer telephone calls, handle inquiries and/or transfer calls to appropriate party.
  • Validate and process expense reports.
  • Prepare materials in final form from rough and involved drafts which may apply frequent use of technical terminology and which combine materials from several sources.
  • Plan layout of complex reports and statistical tables.
  • Performs other functions and responsibilities as assigned.
