We are recruiting to fill the position below:

POSITION OVERVIEW

  • We are seeking an exceptional Executive Assistant for our client Coronation Registrars to provide comprehensive support to our Managing Director/CEO.
  • This role goes beyond traditional administrative duties, requiring a strategic mindset, project management skills, and a solid understanding of finance and investment.
  • The ideal candidate will serve as a trusted partner to the MD/CEO, facilitating efficient time management while contributing to strategic initiatives.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Executive Assistant, preferably in financial services
  • Proven track record of project management success
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field (Preferred)
  • Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, etc.)
  • Experience in investment banking, private equity, or similar financial sectors
  • Knowledge of financial markets and investment principles
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools and financial software

Working Conditions:

  • Hybrid-work model, with occasional evening or weekend work as required • Some travel may be necessary
  • Must reside in Lagos.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the MD/CEO’s calendar, including scheduling meetings, coordinating travel arrangements, and ensuring optimal time management
  • Handle correspondence, including emails, letters, and phone calls with utmost discretion and professionalism
  • Create and maintain project timelines, track deliverables, and ensure deadlines are met
  • Prepare status reports and facilitate project-related meetings
  • Identify potential issues and propose solutions to keep projects on track
  • Prepare and edit presentations, reports, and other documents for executive meetings
  • Coordinate and attend high-level meetings, taking detailed minutes and following up on action items
  • Act as a liaison between the MD/CEO and internal/external stakeholders
  • Oversee and coordinate strategic projects on behalf of the MD/CEO
  • Conduct research and analysis to support strategic decision-making
  • Assist in the preparation of board materials and strategic presentations
  • Monitor industry trends and compile relevant information for the MD/CEO
  • Support the development and tracking of key performance indicators
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports and investment summaries
  • Maintain tracking systems for key financial metrics and investment opportunities
  • Support due diligence processes for potential investments
  • Help coordinate with finance team on budgeting and financial planning
