Description:

We are looking for an experienced Executive Assistant to join our team in Dublin, supporting the European operations of the Commodities and Global Markets business. This role will be within Macquarie Bank Europe, an Irish credit institution with operations in Dublin and Paris. The Executive Assistant team here primarily support the Senior Management and Business Management function as well as providing additional support to the broader Macquarie Bank Europe team (Finance, Risk, Operations).

What role will you play?
You will play an essential role in keeping the team organised and operating effectively. As a problem solver who can multi-task, your understanding of the industry culture will help you better understand and support the team. You will be working with a group of dynamic and enthusiastic professionals, whose work is consistently recognised as industry leading. Your role will also consist of calendar management, expense processing, travel coordination for international trips using Concur for multiple executives and managing meeting bookings for both internal and external stakeholders. You will closely work with the account management team with the creation of Purchase Orders and at times dealing directly with external firms to co-ordinate invoicing. Assisting with onboarding of new starters, liaising with in-house services like IT, Human Resources, Business Services will also be part of your role.

What you offer

  • 3+ years’ experience in a similar executive assistant role within an international organisation or financial/professional services
  • Confident working with senior-level colleagues across different offices and time zones and have exceptional communications skills
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills will be essential for this role. Skills in Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint will be required
  • The ability to multi-task, remain detail orientated whilst working in a fast-paced environment will also be crucial.
  • A positive, proactive attitude and enjoy solving problems and being a team player
