Miwatj Health is seeking a dedicated Executive Assistant to provide comprehensive administrative support to the Director of Medical Services. This part-time role, based in Nhulunbuy or Darwin, also includes the responsibility of relieving the General Manager Health and Director of Nursing and Midwifery when required.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

This role will see you working in a remote Aboriginal community. All applicants must have an understanding and commitment to Aboriginal Community Control, self-determination, and the issues faced by Yolŋu people living in remote settings ;Successful Candidate must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a cross-cultural environment, fostering open communication and continuous learning with a positive and innovative approach to problem solving ; Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills including the ability to deal with suppliers of goods and services for purchases and enquiries.
