Description:

At JTA Development Consultants we focus on development and project management for delivery of new buildings.
Our team is growing and we have been lucky enough to work on some of the regions most exciting developments. With this, we are looking for a dynamic addition to our team. The individual coming into this role will have relevant administration experience and will offer a range of interpersonal skills and ethics as they will be working directly with the Principal, all staff and all consultants and contractors the firm works alongside. We see this as a mid-level management position that will offer constant learning and potential for growth and advancement.
The ideal candidate will have a positive “can do” attitude, a strong work ethic, is compassionate and will enjoy working with diverse groups. They must value personal growth, integrity and honesty and demonstrate an interest in learning and developing their skillset relating to our work.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Outgoing, friendly and responsible self-starter who works well independently and with others
  • High degree of self awareness and interpersonal skills
  • Post-secondary education a plus
  • Minimum of 3+ years in administration, community relations experience, real estate development or communications
  • Detail oriented and organized
  • Superior verbal/written communications skills, fluency in English
  • Ability to manage priorities and balance deadline-driven work load with complete accuracy
  • A strong work ethic, attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Strong MS Office, Outlook, Teams skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Direct support for the Principal and Office Functions
  • Support and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Assist in collecting and distributing project material and information
  • Assist with Calendars, familiarity with associated programs, Outlook, Teams…etc.
  • Assist in the creation and management of internal and external documents and communication.
  • Assist in coordination of internal and external meetings
  • Independently manage documents for tracking and reporting
  • Attend regular team meetings, take notes, distribute minutes
  • Organize office administration as required
