Description:

We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Executive Assistant based in Washington, District of Columbia. The role is primarily rooted in the administrative industry and will be carried out in a professional office setting. As an Executive Assistant, you will be tasked with various responsibilities that require proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, as well as strong skills in Calendar Management, Correspondence, Scheduling, and Travel Arrangements.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and organize executives’ calendars, ensuring efficient scheduling of meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
  • Responsible for coordinating and scheduling meetings, both internal and external, including the preparation of meeting agendas and materials.
  • Handle executive correspondence, drafting and sending out emails and letters as required.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office Suite to create, edit, format, and print documents, reports, and presentations.
  • Responsible for making travel arrangements such as booking flights, cars, and making hotel and restaurant reservations.
  • Use Microsoft Outlook for managing day-to-day schedules, emails, and contacts.
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the team and ensure smooth operations in the office.
  • Manage the flow of information in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Ensure all customer inquiries are responded to in an efficient and professional manner.
  • Maintain and update customer credit records as necessary.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Outlook
  • Experience in managing professional calendars and scheduling appointments
  • Ability to handle professional correspondence with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders
  • Knowledge in making travel arrangements including booking flights, hotels, and arranging transport
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Experience in supporting high-level executives in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
