JOB DESCRIPTION/REQUIREMENTS
Position Overview:
Our Client, the Creative Director of a renowned fashion house located in Lekki Phase 1, is looking to recruit an Executive Assistant. The Executive Assistant will play a crucial role in managing the day-to-day operations of the Creative Director’s office. This role requires a proactive individual with strong organizational skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to handle a fast-paced, creative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Calendar Management: Manage and coordinate the Creative Director’s complex schedule, including meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
- Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external communications on behalf of the Creative Director, handling confidential information with discretion.
- Project Coordination: Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of creative projects, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met.
- Meeting Preparation: Prepare agendas, presentations, and materials for meetings; take detailed minutes and follow up on action items.
- Travel Arrangements: Arrange domestic and international travel, including flights, accommodations, and itineraries, ensuring seamless logistics.
- Expense Management: Handle expense reports, budget tracking, and financial documentation for the Creative Director.
- Event Planning: Assist in organizing events, photoshoots, and other creative initiatives, working closely with internal teams and external vendors.
- Research and Analysis: Conduct research and provide insights on industry trends, competitor activities, and potential opportunities to support strategic decision-making.
- Office Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Creative Director’s office, including managing correspondence, filing, and maintaining office supplies.
- Creative Support: Collaborate with the creative team on special projects, ensuring alignment with the Creative Director’s vision and brand strategy.
Qualifications:
- Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an executive assistant, preferably in the fashion industry or a related creative field.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Fashion, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
Skills:
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software.
- Familiarity with fashion design processes and industry terminology is a plus.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Discretion and professionalism in handling confidential information.
