Are you an administrative professional with some project assistant/management experience that wants to continue to grow your career? Join Leidos and make a difference for our Federal customers in national security as a full-time, contractor-staffed, Executive Assistant and Scheduler to support the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) Office of Research, Development, Test, and Evaluation. You will use and develop your organizational, scheduling, planning, and tracking skills to support a research and development program crucial to the national nuclear weapons stockpile. This is a position that involves a mix of on-site work at the NNSA offices in Washington DC and the opportunity for partial telework.
Preference is for a mid-level individual with demonstrated experience performing in an Executive Assistant role with basic project management experience related to task tracking and performance reporting. Individual must have a depth of experience working in a classified environment and relevant understanding of policies and procedures applicable to support NNSA programs. The individual must be self-starting, possess an ability to work in a highly dynamic environment, and have an ability to interface with a broad range of federal and military senior staff and leadership.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & CLEARANCE:

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of prior relevant executive administrative experience, including basic project management experience.
  • Writing skills that are easy to understand, accurate, and concise for a variety of audiences.
  • Independent, self-motivated and exhibits the highest standards of accuracy and organization skills.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, Microsoft Teams, and Sharepoint.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Active DOE Q or DOD Top Secret clearance.
  • Proficiency in federal travel system (e.g., Concur) and federal timekeeping system.
  • Experience with administering security processes that ensure security and integrity of classified systems, hardware and data in accordance with established procedures.
  • Experience maintaining physical security of classified safe, including all content, from creation through destruction in accordance with and in compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Military administration experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing Senior Executive Service leadership with concise, accurate and timely analyses and information to support programmatic decision-making.
  • Manage customer day-to-day operations, travel, and calendar.
  • Obtain travel authorizations, book travel, submit expense reports.
  • Collect completion and progress data of planned work scope relative to schedule.
  • Completing annual, quarterly, and other periodic reporting requirements for customer.
