    The Opportunity
    Strategic Group is seeking an Executive Assistant to play a pivotal role in enhancing the productivity and leadership effectiveness of the CEO of Strategic Group by providing professional and administrative support. The successful candidate will be part of a team of two Executive Assistants that report directly to the CEO. This role requires a high level of professionalism, confidentiality, proactivity, intuition, and exceptional organizational skills.
    The Executive Assistant must thrive in an entrepreneurial environment, demonstrating personability, creativity, and composure. Success in this role is contingent upon the ability to handle a diverse set of responsibilities with finesse and efficiency.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Ensure maximum effectiveness and productivity of the CEO.
  • Assist in documentation and the setting and tracking of goals, priorities and initiatives to ensure maximum clarity, focus and execution by the CEO.
  • Optimize productivity for both in-person and online meetings, including agenda preparation and follow-up documentation. In addition, ensure that meeting takeaways are effectively delegated, prioritized, documented and completed promptly.
  • Recognize, prioritize, and channel urgent matters appropriately.
  • Provide leadership in building internal and external relationships, representing the CEO and the organization effectively.
  • Represent the CEO in a professional manner in all internal and external interactions.
  • Assist in the development of tailored messaging, which may include writing, editing and distributing communications.
  • Develop and maintain an efficient paper and electronic filing system to ensure reports, correspondence, and documentation are maintained and readily available.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with the other Executive Assistant as a cohesive team.
  • Perform other ad hoc duties or projects that may be required.

Professional Skills

  • Post-Secondary education: background in legal, finance, or business preferred.
  • Experience in a support function with progressive responsibility.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced working knowledge of MS Office and the ability to adapt to new technology and software.

Personal Skills

  • Positive, professional, patient, and calm demeanor.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize actions in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive materials discreetly.
