Description:
POSITION OVERVIEW
Biotecture Inc. is seeking a highly organized and adaptable Executive Assistant (Intern) to support the Founder & CEO, Mindy Tindall during May through August. This crucial role blends administrative support, project coordination, and personal assistance to ensure seamless operations both professionally and personally. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong and clear communication, discretion and diplomacy, and the ability to manage both business and personal tasks efficiently.
This hybrid role is based in Edmonton, Alberta.
COMMITMENT
This role is for 5-10 hours/week. Work hours are generally flexible except for meeting times and time-sensitive errands or tasks. Term will begin around May 1 and end around August 31, 2025. This role will provide you with a different week each week and is not for those looking for the mundane!

REQUIREMENTS
Applicants MUST be enrolled at a Canadian post-secondary institution for consideration. This is non-negotiable as it is required for funding the role.
Applicants MUST be based in Edmonton, Alberta.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven experience as an Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant, or in a similar role is an asset.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with project management tools (we use Asana) and Skype.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a highly agile entrepreneurial environment.
- Exceptional discretion, confidentiality, care, and attention to detail – particularly in managing personal tasks.
- A background in architecture, design, or health-related fields is an asset and will be highly preferred but not required.

- Manage personal calendar, appointments, and scheduling, including running personal errands and tasks.
