Executive Assistant to the Director of Technology
Would you like to take up an exciting opportunity to work closely with the Director for Technology at the FCA?
Salary: National ranging from £43,300 to £65,000 and London from £46,400 to £69,500
The team/department
We are now recruiting for a pro-active and results driven Executive Assistant, working to the Director of Technology. Working in collaboration with the DTI Senior Leadership Team, the divisional Business Management Teams and the Director’s PA, this is a critical role in ensuring that the division is able to carry out its responsibilities effectively.
This role sits within the Data, Technology and Innovation (DTI) division, where it’s imperative that teams work collaboratively to deliver value-add technology solutions. The team supports internal technology and data requirements as well as external platforms that host crucial data.
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate good organisational skills with a strong eye for detail, the ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines whilst maintaining quality, effectively prioritise a demanding workload for the Director and their own and have strong interpersonal to communicate and build relationships across the division and wider organisation.
What you will be doing (the role)
This role offers the right candidate a unique and fascinating overview of DTI, together with exposure to the DTI Senior Leadership team and an insight into the management and development of the organisation. You will experience significant variety and challenge and be offered an opportunity to interact with a wide variety of key stakeholders.
You will be responsible for ensuring that issues are clearly prioritised for the Director, together with liaising with staff at all levels to advise and co-ordinate on the preparation and editing of Committee papers; ensuring all actions are dealt with in a timely manner.
Ensuring the effective flow of information between the Director, the DTI leadership team, Operations and the rest of the FCA. This will include ensuring that the Director is properly briefed on emerging and ongoing issues, that his diary reflects his priorities and information is communicated effectively across relevant channels. Strong stakeholder management with other Executive Assistants, the leadership team and business partners is necessary to deliver this.

The skills and experience you will have
Minimum
