QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role, with a minimum of 5 years in a high-volume, fine dining environment.
  • Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines, with a passion for creating innovative and delicious dishes.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team and collaborate with other departments.
  • Knowledge of food and labor cost management, and experience with budgeting and financial reporting.
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations and best practices.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and oversee menu planning and creation for all restaurants within the Al Hokair Group, ensuring a high standard of quality and consistency.
  • Manage and train kitchen staff, including sous chefs, line cooks, and other culinary personnel.
  • Develop and implement cost-effective strategies to optimize food and labor costs, while maintaining high quality standards.
  • Collaborate with restaurant managers and other departments to ensure smooth operations and a cohesive dining experience for our guests.
  • Maintain inventory levels and oversee ordering of food and kitchen supplies.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and sanitary work environment.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and techniques, and make recommendations for menu updates and kitchen improvements.
