OVERVIEW

We are seeking a talented and passionate Executive Chef to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional catering experiences. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the food industry, showcasing leadership and creativity in menu design and kitchen operations. This role requires a commitment to excellence, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to manage and inspire a diverse team.

EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience as an Executive Chef or in a similar leadership role within the food service industry.
  • Strong background in hospitality with demonstrated skills in supervising and managing teams.
  • Expertise in food preparation techniques, menu planning, and kitchen management.
  • Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team management and development.
  • Familiarity with bartending is a plus, enhancing the overall dining experience for guests.
  • A passion for culinary arts combined with the ability to create memorable dining experiences.

    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: $23.00-$29.00 per hour
    Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation.
  • Develop innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while meeting customer preferences.
  • Supervise kitchen staff, providing training and guidance to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Manage food preparation processes to ensure safety, sanitation, and compliance with health regulations.
  • Manage and hit food cost targets set by management
  • Check and manage emails / internal communications
  • Collaborate with front-of-house management to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
  • Monitor inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed while managing food costs effectively.
  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, creativity, and professional growth.
