EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES

  • Deep understanding and proven experience at senior level in EU affairs & institutions
  • Knowledge of politicalcontext in Central and Eastern Europe
  • Political experience at EU or/and in Central and Eastern Europe is a plus
  • Strong interest in climate, the environment and related fields
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with empowerment of teams and ensuring collaborative mindset
  • Embraces teamwork
  • Strategic mindset
  • Change management sensitivity
  • Solution-minded and capacity to adapt in a fast-evolving environment
  • Excellent command of the English languages (both spoken and written)
  • Experience of working in a multinational environmentExperience of working/campaigning with civil society/stakeholder groups is a plus

  • Developmentof an overarching EU strategy that positions ECF to respond to the changing and challenging political context
  • Oversee ECF country programmes in Central and Eastern Europe
