Description:
Purpose:
You will lead the International Insights and Analytics functions to identify and address main insights to grow the International (INT) business in the short, medium and long term. You will report into CSL Behring’s global Insights & Analytics (I&A) organization and will be an important member of its leadership team. Also, you will be the single contact for INT marketing, INT GM and the INT leadership team; and part of the INT leadership team representing I&A. You will required to engage with all levels of INT commercial operations group and play a critical role in both strategy formulation and tactical delivery across the CSLB product portfolio. You are experienced with understanding of pharma environment within complex markets such as EU/AsiaPacific and also able to represent multiple I&A functions (forecasting, MR, CI)
Lead the development of well-designed, insightful, and applicable business analysis, market research and competitive intelligence, focused on driving the INT business. We are looking for technical analytical skills with qualitative insight results of complex analysis as clear and outcomes to all levels. You can work collaboratively and use inputs from global cross teams (including commercial operations, medical affairs, finance), and with all levels of the organization including executive management. You will manage a geographically dispersed team with diverse and multi-lingual background, working across multiple time-zones.
Responsibilities:
- Develop a Business analytics group that answers questions that our relevant to driving our business in the short, medium and long term. Develop and expand analysis of internal sales data and external data purchased from channel partners to support brand strategies.
- Oversee the preparation of strategic market models that provide insight into market and segment growth expectations which identify brand opportunities and risks. Apply insights for International Commercial Operations strategy development.
- Lead the sales operations group to use Veeva CRM sales and activity data to provide insights into CSL customer interactions and customer purchasing behavior to identify brand and portfolio level opportunities and risks.
- Oversee the development of sales team incentive compensation across International Commercial Operations to ensure strategic agreement of compensation plans with north American commercial operations tactical goals
- Provide inputs to the generation of financial plan forecasts for International Commercial Operations submissions to the global financial strategy
- Ad hoc strategy development and decision support to International Commercial Leadership Team through internal and external business insights including economic analysis of CSL Behring, the plasma product markets, biotech industry trends and the macroeconomic environment
- Lead the collection of intelligence, analysis of strategic inference and identification of CSLB opportunities and risks.
- Support franchise business teams as a subject matter expert member of the contributing teams
- Strategic oversight of the Veeva CRM system by applying our internal customer data to increase service levels, identify business opportunities and risks.
- Identification of main business blind spots and augmentation with targeted development and acquisition of external market intelligence including patient level script data, primary and secondary market research, syndicated reports that provides a tangible benefit to the business and efficient return on investment
- Establish direction and implementation of INT commercial data acquisition and integration to ensure return from CSL data investments that provide clarity into CSL brand performance, market dynamics and all related analytics to support resource deployment across the INT commercial team
