Responsibilities:

JOB PURPOSE

The Executive Director is the public face of LOVE, NILS and has overall responsibility for implementing the vision of LOVE, NILS and ensuring sustainability while working towards greater impact and reach.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Operations

  • Work with the Board to create and implement the organisation’s strategic vision.
  • Develop vision and strategy into operational plans and accomplish key organisation goals and objectives.
  • Inspire, coach and develop human capital within the organisation; build an effective team through guidance and coaching.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of programs, ensuring and measuring highest positive impact for beneficiaries.
  • Review and recommend organisation staffing structure; oversee employment contracts and employee annual review process.

Fundraising

  • Work closely with the Board to set annual fundraising targets, vision and overall strategy for the organisation.
  • Build a strong fundraising team; direct and oversee fundraising efforts.
  • Cultivate and foster relationships with funders and donors to secure and expand recurring revenue streams.

Financial Performance

  • Present financial reports to the Board quarterly; Prepare and submit the annual budget, annual report and oversee the annual audit.
  • Ensure adherence to all Singapore IPC charity reporting and regulatory requirements in accordance with the regulations on charity compliance, ensuring highest levels of transparency and continuity of IPC status.

Public Relations and Stakeholder Engagement

  • Represent the organization in a manner that is consistent with the organisation’s mission and values.
  • Act as the public speaker and public relations representative of the organisation in ways that strengthen its profile.
  • Forge and maintain relations of trust with stakeholders, partners and external authorities.
