- Exciting Opportunity to be a part of the new Group BCM function accountable for driving consistency and promoting continuous improvement in risk management practices across the 1st Line
- Reporting to the Head of Business Controls and Monitoring, Risk Practices
HOW WILL I HELP?
We’re seeking an Executive Manager, Risk Practices - Group BCM, who will report to the Head of Business Controls and Monitoring, Risk Practices. In this critical role, you’ll be responsible for continuously improving and driving compliance with Standards and Guidance for key elements of the RMF, including the Issue and Action Management Policy, Incident Management Policy, Key Indicators Policy, Scenario Analysis Policy, and Root Cause Analysis Policy.
You’ll lead efforts to ensure consistency and efficiency across the Group in complying with these standards, performing quality reviews for issues and incidents, and continuously improving processes. You’ll coordinate Group-wide reviews related to the RMF, including Read Across and Root Cause activities, and contribute to the integrated assurance plans. Additionally, you’ll drive the thematic uplift requirements in Risk Practices across the Group, supporting the Head of BCM, Risk Practices in their accountability.
Working closely with BCM teams across the Group, you’ll identify thematic activities related to Read Across and Root Cause, provide feedback on quality reviews, and reduce overhead time for Divisions and LOBs by centrally coordinating the Read Across, Root Cause, Stress Testing, and Scenario Analysis processes. You’ll also focus on improving NFR metrics and driving uplift in risk practices for Divisions and LOBs, escalating material matters to the GM BCM Technology / Group BCM as needed.
