KEY EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENTS / SKILLS

  • Expected to graduate with a university degree in a related field (Actuarial Science, Business, Economics, Finance, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, etc.).
  • Fluency in English is mandatory and fluency in other Asian languages is advantageous.
  • Knowledge or prior experience in an insurance related company is advantageous.
  • Strong desire to learn the ropes in preparation for a career in the insurance industry.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, including demonstrated tenacity at data mining to discover root causes of results is advantageous.
  • Team player with strong service quality mind-set, adaptable, analytical, independent, meticulous, proactive, reliable, resilient, active listening, and willing to learn.
  • Very strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Responsibilities:

JOB PURPOSE/ ROLE

In this role, you will be part of the CEO Office team which oversees the management support and office operations of Allianz Reinsurance Asia Pacific, as well as market management support to the Property & Casualty Client Management team in Asia Pacific.
Your main task is to support the Property & Casualty Client Management team in driving and steering of all required client and market related activities. This includes active local involvement within Asia Pacific Property & Casualty team to provide executive support on conducting portfolio analysis, documenting, maintenance of the team’s reporting and planning process requirements, at day-to-day business needs to deliver effective business solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support CEO Office and Property & Casualty Client Management team on business requirements including and not limited to data analysis, client communication, or activities related to the needs of the team.
  • Oversee and coordinate the successful administration of business-related data and responsible for delivery of the relevant reports, such as strategy planning, portfolio analysis, business reporting. This includes quality checking and consolidation of data from all stakeholders.
  • Proactively and effectively communicate, and develop strong working relationships, with key stakeholders, including Client Managers, Underwriters, and Operations team, as well as Global CMO function.
  • Proactively support the CEO Office on operational matters and tasks, implementation of initiatives and special projects for the organization.
  • Proactively support the Property & Casualty Client Management team on client communication, events planning and execution.
  • Regularly and promptly communicate progress, issues, and deviation from agreed plans and actions.
