Description:
Responsibilities:
- Manage and provide high-level executive and confidential support and coordinate information and advice to the Director-General and Director, by exercising a high level of discretion in relation to the Office’s activities, ensuring effective functioning of the Office.- Provide and coordinate quality control for the administration of the Director- General’s meetings, which includes coordination of forward agendas and briefs and follow-up actions arising from meetings.- Coordinate papers for boards and committees chaired by the Director-General, including pre-approvals and comments and progress updates on actions prior to meetings.- Maintain the Director-General’s diary, including organisation of appointments in line with priorities established by the Director-General.- Manage the receipt and reply to invitations and meeting requests that are received by the Director-General.- Ensure briefing material for meetings and events are provided to the Director- General in a timely manner.- Facilitate and organise the preparation of itineraries and travel arrangements for the Director-General.- Organise Director-General events and speaking engagements including speech notes, travel and logistics.- Organise Director-General communication and engagement activities (e.g. roadshows, meet and greets, staff discussions) including associated documentation, conference room bookings, travel and logistics.- Develop and maintain relationships across DJAG, within government and with the private sector and maintain effective communication between the Office and Office of the Attorney-General and Minister for Justice.- Supervise the Executive Support Officer to provide administrative report to the Office of the Director-General.
