POST SUMMARY-

Working within the small Accommodation Office team, as the front-line receptionist with the objective of providing quality customer services to the Halls current 1,000 residents during the academic year and acting as the first point of contact for enquires from residents and the public to the office. During the summer commercial operation, the post holder will assist in the delivery of customer and hospitality services to language school participants and commercial guests.
The successful candidate will have a strong emphasis on delivering a quality customer service, while undertaking the day-to-day function of the reception operation, its management and delivery of services to students and summer guests. The post holder will be expected to use discretion when dealing with sensitive student or guest information, will be able to use their own judgement and initiative and act as the first responder when dealing with contingencies. The post holder will liaise closely with other staff at Trinity Hall, with the Accommodation Office Staff in College and the Warden and their Team. Reporting to the Accommodation Manager or their deputy the Operations Manager – Trinity Hall.
The responsibilities of the post and hours of attendance may vary between the academic year and vacation periods. Attendance may be required outside normal office hours and it will be necessary to be available to assist in the event of contingencies or problems outside rostered hours.
