We are currently recruiting for an Executive Personal Assistant to be based in the Vice Chancellors Office, City Centre Campus, Curzon Building. This is a job share Executive PA role, looking after the Vice-Chancellor’s University Secretary.

The successful applicant will need to be comfortable with a job share role.

Key activities of the role will include (See Job Description for complete list):

  • Support the activities of the University Secretary and maintain relevant administrative systems
  • Review, establish and manage relevant systems and record keeping within the office
  • Maintain a diary of appointments, deadlines and key events and balance conflicting priorities
  • Coordinate meetings including the preparation of agendas, briefing materials and distribution of papers
  • Prioritise, respond to and redirect communications internally and externally as appropriate
  • Maintain an internal network within the Executive, Administrative and Academic departments.

The successful candidate should demonstrate:

  • Previous senior administration, EA and/or PA experience
  • A high level of literacy and numeracy
  • Experience managing and maintain sensitive information
  • Flexibility regards to shifting priorities
  • Effective communication skills
