Fantastic PA / EA opportunity within a friendly, busy team working 50/50 between the office (Southampton Hospital Tremona Rd site) and home. This is an interesting and varied role offering the opportunity to work with a broad range of stakeholders, whilst supporting the Chief People Officer and HR leadership team.
As one of the largest acute teaching Trusts in England, we offer learning and development opportunities to help you achieve the career you aspire to.
Specific to this role is the suitability for agile working which is a mixture of on-site and remote working. In addition, we are open to discussing flexibility in the hours that you work. Please talk to us at the interview about the flexibility you need, and we will explore what’s possible for the role and service. UHS employees are able to access a range of NHS discounts, are entitled to a minimum of 35 days paid holiday (pro rata), and we offer a generous pension scheme.
Southampton is an attractive place to live and work situated on the south coast, with an international airport and direct trains to London. The New Forest National Park and beaches of the Jurassic coast are also right on our doorstep. The city offers living costs 20% lower than London and 14 schools rated outstanding by Ofsted.
You’ll be involved in everything from juggling diary commitments to taking minutes, organising meetings to collating reports, preparing agendas and meeting packs to organising travel; and making the odd cuppa for guests!
This is a busy role where the ability to prioritise and plan your time effectively is essential. You’ll have exposure to confidential information so it is important that you are sensitive to this. You’ll ideally have done some PA work before and be looking to step up to EA. You’ll be organised and practical, a real team player and someone who thrives on multitasking.
This role has come up through an internal promotion of our current PA; we’re very happy to support personal development and offer opportunities for broader exposure within the hospital
