This is a contract position that can be converted to a permanent role, subject to performance and divisional requirements.
JOB DESCRIPTION
SINDA Family Development Division serves as a focal point for families who can turn for help on any matter relating to the family. We provide a wide range of support for families in need and contribute to the overall mission of strengthening families. We also ensure that we are plugged into the community needs and collaborate with or facilitate other agencies in meeting these needs.
The team member will work with the Family Development Division to support the administrative operations of SINDA Assistance Schemes and ensure timely service delivery.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Diploma or Degree in Events Management, Business Management, Volunteer Management or any other related fields.
- Min 2 year of relevant working experience in Community Engagement, Partnerships and Event management.
- Proficient in MS PowerPoint and MS Excel for presentations
- Able to perform basic data analysis using Excel/Power BI would be an added advantage
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to manage stakeholders across different levels.
- Resourceful, able to work independently and in a team with volunteers & community leaders
- Flexible to work on some weekday evenings and weekends
Responsibilities:
- Plan & execute community engagement and collaborative activities
- Plan & execute volunteer-initiated events and programmes
- Plan & execute ground engagements like curate activities to attract more members of the public, support meetings with community organisations
- Monitor program performance of both internal and external service providers
- Work with community partners and other stakeholders to collaborate and curate activities and events
- Participate in SINDA-wide events when required
- Perform other adhoc duties as assigned
