What are my responsibilities?

As Executive Sous Chef you are reporting to the Executive Chef. You exhibit culinary talents by personally performing tasks while assisting in leading the ambassadors and managing all food-related functions. You monitor the quantity of food that is prepared. You will prepare special meals or substitute items and you will monitor stock of kitchen supplies and food. In this position you are assisting management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining and motivating and coaching employees.

  • Ensuring Culinary Standards and Responsibilities are Met

  • Analyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems.

To be eligible for this position you…

  • Have a specific culinary degree.
  • Have at least 2 years’ experience in a managerial position in the kitchen.
  • Can communicate in English and preferably Dutch.
  • Have knowledge of overall hotel operations.
  • Have right to work in the Netherlands.
