Description:

The role

  • Fulfil the responsibilities of this role in accordance with Queensland Public Sector core values as outlined in the role description and following defined service quality standards, occupational health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being undertaken in order to ensure high quality, safe, services and workplaces.- Undertake coordination and management of confidential and sensitive activities for the Senior Director, including email management, diary management, travel and accommodation arrangements and organisation of functions. - Assess and prioritise incoming calls and general correspondence, including papers and reports, to determine priorities and actions required and where necessary, refer to other parts of Queensland Health or external agencies for action.- Work with a high degree of autonomy, make informed decisions and achieve results, including the ability to proactively identify, analyse and resolve issues, plan, prioritise, delegate and meet frequently changing and competing deadlines in a flexible manner.
