Description:

Reporting to the Director of Planning and Inventory, this position is responsible for the timely and accurate movement of orders upon request to improve the customer experience.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Candidate must have a high school diploma
  • Corrugated experience an asset
  • In-depth knowledge of the MS Office suite, particularly MS Excel and MS Word
  • Must be organized, detail-oriented and results-driven
  • Experience in manufacturing is preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
  • Ability to work autonomously and with little direction in a high volume, fast paced environment
  • Team player able to balance multiple priorities and make tough decisions in a timely manner
  • Ability to present themselves in a professional manner

Responsibilities:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for constantly monitor the situation on the production floor to smooth out demand and ensure deliveries are met.
  • Negotiates for balanced solutions with Customer Service, Production and Sales.
  • Timely scheduling of expedited requests for production by organizing and monitoring schedules.
  • Promptly finds solutions for requests to insert orders following the insert protocol.
  • Anticipate capacity constraints on the known horizon and promptly act on them by moving accounts rather than individual orders.
  • Replenish inventory for stock items following the inventory strategies while ensuring no stock out situations using a predictive and patterned strategy.
  • Prepare daily rush list according to customer requirements and distribute to production teams.
  • Communicate with department supervisors to determine progress of work and completion dates.
  • Responsible to complete various reports, as required, including board lead time, inventory analysis on key accounts.
  • Investigate hold orders and orders not transferring between Amtech and CTI.
  • Works closely with the Planner/Schedulers to coordinate expedites, balances reruns.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results and performing other duties as assigned.
