We are currently looking for Experience Centre Officers to help staff our new Experience Centre for our CopperString 2032 project in Townsville. If you are interested in a customer focussed, permanent part time, 30 hour work week and are available to participate in a weekend roster we need you.

THIS ROLE AND COPPERSTRING

As our Experience Centre Officer, you’ll work in small but dedicated Experience Centre team based in Townsville. You will help inform the broader public about our CopperString 2032 project and connect Queensland to an even brighter and more sustainable future. This is a part time role, 30 hours per week and will be required to participate in a rotating weekend roster, you will therefore need to be available to work weekends when required as per the roster.

The CopperString project will serve as a catalyst for green energy projects and provide a significant investment into North Queensland, generating additional economic and employment opportunities for the region.

As our Experience Centre Officer, you will be responsible for staffing our Experience Centre in Townsville and provide support, information and education to the larger public and stakeholders regarding the details of our CopperString 2032 project. You will help deliver exceptional customer service solutions to interested parties and grow your skills every day. And you’ll do it with down-to-earth people who you’re proud to work with and get to know. Here’s how:

• You will deliver effective and accurate project information and educational support.
• You will assist in the development, delivery and ongoing maintenance of information and educational programs to build and enhance greater awareness of our CopperString project.
• You deliver timely and quality customer services tailored to the community needs, including tasks such as information and educational programs

You must hold, or must successfully complete the required qualification and licences within 3 months of commencing in the role:

• First Aid and CPR
• Working with Children Check (QLD Blue Card
