As the Experience Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering unforgettable experiences for our visitors. You’ll lead the operational aspects of the International Antarctic Centre, ensuring a customer-centric focus on our products and experiences.
As the Experience Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing the day-to-day operations of the International Antarctic Centre. This role requires strong leadership skills to guide direct reports and ensure all deliverables are achieved. You will align policies, procedures, and activities with the operational business plan while developing and implementing strategies to enhance visitor experiences. Managing budgets and overseeing the financial performance of operational areas will be crucial, as will maintaining high standards of health and safety compliance. A key focus of this position is driving continuous improvement in both customer satisfaction and operational efficiency, ensuring the International Antarctic Centre remains a top-tier attraction.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Experience in a supervisory or management role, preferably in tourism or a related field
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong planning and organisational skills
- Financial management experience
- Proficiency in computer skills and relevant software
- Valid driver’s license
