OPPORTUNITY OVERVIEW
We are looking for a full-time Accounting Assistant to join our growing team. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Accounting Assistant plays an important role in ensuring the integrity and accuracy of the Vancouver Club’s financial records.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Good understanding of accounting principles.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivables combined.
- Proficiency with computer applications (Accounting software, spreadsheets, word processing, etc.).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail oriented and highly organized.
- Able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Possess good work ethics and dependable.
- Must have a professional appearance and manner, a gracious attitude and the ability to interact with diverse groups as well as the ability to build strong relationships within the Club.
Responsibilities:
OTHER DUTIES:
- Completion of various month end tasks as required.
- Support the CFO in preparing and reconciling various financial reports as needed.
- Record and reconcile company credit card receipts.
- Provide support to the Accounting team in general.
