Description:
ARE YOU A MATURE MINDED PERSON WHO IS PASSIONATE ABOUT GOOD HEALTH AND WELLBEING?
We are a well established busy Chiropractic/ Wellness Centre in Brisbane’s Northern suburbs, at North Lakes and are looking for an experienced Allied Health Assistant/ Receptionist to work approximately 16 - 24hrs per week. This position will require availability with a combination of morning and afternoon/evening shifts, you will need to be flexible to cover other staff members when on leave, sick, school holidays etc. Availability to work Saturday’s is essential. This position will provide regular casual hours each week, which could lead to part time.
Flexibility is a definite must for the successful applicant. Please do not apply if you cannot be flexible .
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- A minimum of two years experience in an Allied Health environment, e.g. Chiropractic, Physio & Natural Therapies, is a must
- Great people management skills: must display an enthusiastic, positive and friendly approach to create a warm and caring environment for our clients and colleagues
- Excellent Phone manner with a positive tone with a smile that can be heard on the phone
- Good ability to multi-task: organise and allocate time to co-ordinate a number of duties to accomplish specific tasks with minimal supervision
- Outstanding communication skills: Ability to adapt communication styles to meet individual needs of the patient
- Ability to problem solve and prioritise in demanding situations
- Has a passion for the services that Embrace Life provides and is keen to expand their knowledge to educate and engage clients

Responsibilities:
- Meet and greet patients and general receptionist duties
- Multi Practitioner appointment book scheduling
- Inbound / outbound telephone control
- Electronic payment system, Eftpos, Tyro, DVA, Medicare
- Strict confidential handling and filing of patient records
- Assisting and preparation of in-house health workshops and events
- Clinic hygiene and cleaning procedures
