Experienced Boring Mill Operator & Programmer- Swing Shift

at  SEQUEL TOOL AND MOLD INC

• Operating our Awea 4 axis boring mill with Fanuc Controller
• Operate overhead crane to remove and/or load molds.
• Setup large work pieces for machining (square up, eyebolts, clampslots, Plate work and roughing)
• Communicating tooling needs to the supervisor
• Familiarity with large-workpiece machine setup using FCS.
• Working to scheduling requirements to keep timelines
• Understanding CNC programing. Ability to review and edit and create programs.
• Lemoine experience considered an asset

REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to work well with both others and independently.

• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Results oriented environment and ability to take ownership and responsibility for their work.
• Must possess good problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Comfortable working in an ever-changing technology driven environment.
• Experience in plastic injection molds considered an asset
• Able to work swing shift
• Use of CAD/CAM systems and computer systems are an asset.
• Licensed General Machinist (429A) is an asset.
  Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
  Pay: $18.00-$30.00 per hour
  Expected hours: 30 – 44 per week
