What we are looking for?
We are seeking an experienced Conveyancing Paralegal to join our Brisbane Property & Real Estate team on a full-time basis to cover a period of parental leave until September 2025. Candidates will require a minimum of 3 years proven experience working as a paralegal within the residential and commercial conveyancing space.
REQUIRED SKILLS & PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:
Strong communication skills (both verbal and written).
Excellent time management skills as well as the ability to prioritise tasks whilst handling a high-volume workload in a fast paced environment.
A diligent and proactive problem solver.
A friendly, polite approach when working with colleagues and clients.
Ability to remain calm under pressure.

Responsibilities:
Drafting sale contracts, disclosure statements, completion checklists and other conveyancing related documents and correspondence, drafting of correspondence to clients, lessees and solicitors, all of which are to be reviewed by Partners or senior lawyers.
Attending to settlement of the sale and acquisition of land including preparing settlement statements and related matters.
Working knowledge of the Land Title Act , the BCCM Act, the Land Sales Act and extensive general knowledge of conveyancing processes and procedures.
Experience with PEXA and a high level of computer literacy is desirable.
