EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

• Heavy vehicle/diesel plant/drill rig background (highly regarded).
• Experience with pumps, compressors and boosters (highly regarded).
• Understanding of hydraulic schematics (essential).
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Trade qualified (essential).
• Current HR Drivers Licence (essential).
• Senior First Aid.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Due to continued growth within our Maintenance Division, we are now seeking applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to become a valued member at our Central Bowen Basin coal projects pioneering a brand new project where you will conduct preventative maintenance of plant and equipment in accordance with manufacturer’s recommendations, with a focus on maintaining safety and maximising production.

THE ROLE IS:

• Even time 7 days on and 7 days off roster (travel time in break)
• FIFO from an agreed airport or DIDO within an acceptable distance.
• Salary or day rate options on a full time basis.
• Accommodation and meals provided on site.
• BYO trade tools or tools can be provided if required.
• ASAP start.

DUTIES

• Maintain and repair rigs, vehicles and equipment.
• Plan, schedule and organise own work within the requirements of the work plan, and coordinate with other parties as required.
• Ensure thorough and meticulous completion of all maintenance records and documentation.
• Efficiently record and manage movement in and out of associated mechanical spare parts.
• Ensure that workshop and equipment are maintained to a serviceable condition.
