  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related discipline, e.g., Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • A certificate of apprenticeship with relevant experience could compensate for theoretical background.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably from an onshore oil or gas facility.
  • Fluent in English and a Scandinavian language (Norwegian preferred).
  • Team player with the ability to work in an interdisciplinary environment.
  • Creative, cooperative, and proactive, with strong communication skills.
  • Analytical approach, with the ability to understand and manage risk.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with implementing and executing maintenance programs according to vendors specification and experience.
  • Establish and make necessary documentation and make it available to users.
  • Assess the need for, and recommend renewal and modifications to existing equipment in cooperation with end users.
  • Implement new regulations and assess their impact on existing equipment.
  • Implement and update corporate technical requirements.
  • Follow-up with vendors and suppliers.
  • Assess technical solutions regarding ship-to-shore equipment
