- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related discipline, e.g., Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
- A certificate of apprenticeship with relevant experience could compensate for theoretical background.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably from an onshore oil or gas facility.
- Fluent in English and a Scandinavian language (Norwegian preferred).
- Team player with the ability to work in an interdisciplinary environment.
- Creative, cooperative, and proactive, with strong communication skills.
- Analytical approach, with the ability to understand and manage risk.
Responsibilities:
- Work with implementing and executing maintenance programs according to vendors specification and experience.
- Establish and make necessary documentation and make it available to users.
- Assess the need for, and recommend renewal and modifications to existing equipment in cooperation with end users.
- Implement new regulations and assess their impact on existing equipment.
- Implement and update corporate technical requirements.
- Follow-up with vendors and suppliers.
- Assess technical solutions regarding ship-to-shore equipment
