We are looking for experienced Engineers to strengthen our Process Department in Asker. As a Process Engineer, you will contribute to Aibel’s exciting journey in the ongoing energy transition and you will have the chance to work on exciting projects across various segments, including offshore wind, CCS, hydrogen, field development and electrification on the Norwegian continental shelf.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Higher technical education chemical/process engineering (BSc, MSc)
  • Minimum 5 years relevant working experience in engineering
  • Experience from NCS or Norwegian onshore projects is an advantage
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards, i.e. NORSOK, Ptil/PSA, API standards
  • In-depth knowledge of one or more of the following areas:
  • Compressor system design
  • Heat exchanger design and rating
  • Process simulations
  • Process safety
  • Carbon capture

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and review project philosophies and specifications
  • Prepare PFD, P&ID, line lists and design reports
  • Prepare and actively participate in HAZOP, design reviews and other relevant safety reviews
  • Proficiency in Process simulations
  • Active collaboration with other disciplines and vendors
  • Expertise in process safety or compressor system is beneficial
