From our site in Søborg, process equipment is supplied to a wide range of industries such as food and water technology, brewery, energy and marine. Therefore, we are looking for a controller with an interest in IT, who will have an independent responsibility for controlling our Decanter, R&D and Automation business units. The business areas have the global responsibility in the group for product development, sales, and execution of project orders within decanters. You will also participate in the implementation of our new ERP-system D365 and play a key role in implementing best practice. Your tasks are, but not be limited to:

  • Controlling of large sales projects, internal projects, Sales & Administrative costs as well as other costs
  • Participate in financial reporting to the group.
  • Drive forecast/budget process within area of responsibility.
  • Support to the business with monthly reports, analysis, and ad hoc improvements on processes.
  • Support to financial management of projects with focus on correct measurement of profitability and assist in a good risk management.
  • Development and maintenance of IT tools and use of ERP system
  • participate in transfer pricing and ESG reporting in collaboration with colleagues.

The position is based in Copenhagen, Denmark. Alfa Laval offers a hybrid work model, with the opportunity to work from home when it fits with your tasks.
What you know
We are seeking a candidate with a solid financial background, possessing robust skills in accounting and reporting. An audit background would be appreciated but is not a demand. The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in Excel and business intelligence tools, with experience in Dynamics 365 being a significant advantage. Additionally, experience in the controlling of projects is essential. A master’s degree in business administration or a similar field is required, ensuring a well-rounded educational foundation to support the demands of this role.
